Kelly (Di) Wu

Pianist Kelly (Di) Wu started her piano education at age 6, and has since performed throughout China, Canada, and US.  Ms. Wu has won numerous top prizes in many competitions including Macau International Competition for Young Musicians, the Associated Manitoba Arts Festivals (AMAF), Manitoba Provincial Music and Arts Festival, Brandon Festivals of the Arts to name a few.  She was the winner of the Brandon University Concerto Competition and performed Ravel piano concerto in G major under the baton of Dr. Leanne Zacharias. She is in the final stages of the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Minnesota under the tutelage of Dr. Kyung Kim, chair of Keyboard division. Ms. Wu received the Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from Brandon University, Canada where she also studied under the tutelage of Professor Emeritus Dr. Lawrence Jones. 

She has also worked as an instructor for the Junior Rising Star Program at the Minnesota International Piano Camp, where she taught individual lessons and led performance classes.
