Maggie Sorenson

Classical guitarist Maggie Sorenson, a native Minnesotan, began playing guitar at the age of 18. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of St. Thomas, studying under Christopher Kachian, and her AFA in Music from Anoka Ramsey Community College, studying under Jason Vanselow. Maggie has previously performed at weddings, private events, coffee shops, school events, and award ceremonies. She has performed with a variety of chamber ensembles and has also performed a concerto with an orchestra within her college career. A devoted teacher, she brings enthusiasm, knowledge, and an understanding of the learning process to students of all ages and levels. In addition to her expertise in classical guitar, Maggie has extensive experience playing and teaching other styles of guitar, including rock, folk, jazz, fingerstyle and pop. Maggie joined Kramer’s School of Music in 2020.
