Kyle Baker

Kyle Baker is a Twin Cities based guitarist and multi-instrumentalist. He received his Bachelor’s of Music in Guitar Performance from Denison University in 2013 and his Master’s of Music in Guitar Performance from McNally Smith College of Music in 2017. Kyle’s academic work focused primarily on American Roots Music, but his interests and proficiencies extend well into the worlds of Rock, Jazz, Blues, and Classical music. The son of two college professors, education has been a lifelong passion and he has been actively maintaining a guitar studio for the last decade.

Kyle’s main performance outlet is through the Twin Cities theater scene where he has music directed and performed in pit orchestras all throughout Minneapolis and St. Paul. This includes Old Log Theatre, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, the History Theatre, the Jungle Theater, and Park Square Theatre.

When Kyle isn’t playing guitar or teaching, he loves to cook, do crossword puzzles, and take his dog for walks!
