Wendy Lai

Wendy Lai was introduced to the violin from an early age. She attended the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire as a fellow violinist for the Eileen Phillips Cohen string quartet. She performed in masterclass for the Brooklyn Rider and violinist Rachel Barton Pine. She recently participated in the Montecito International Music Festival and Brevard Music Center. Wendy received her bachelor’s degree in violin performance under Samuel Fischer from the University of Redlands, where she received a full-tuition scholarship. She also enjoys collaborating with friends and exploring new music and chamber music. Qiwen performs on a newly-made 2021 Italian violin by Andrea Varazzanni.
