Adrian Volovets

Hailing from Minnesota with Ukrainian roots, Andrey Mark Volovets is a liturgical organist and music instructor. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance, from the University of Notre Dame with a Masters in Organ and Sacred Music, and had private Doctoral instruction with Professor Nathan Laube at the Eastman School of Music and with Dr. Janette Fishell at the Jacobs School of Music. Andrey studied extensively the organ works of Johann Sebastian Bach and Max Reger, as well as liturgical service playing with Professor Kola Owolabi, and organ improvisation with Professor William Porter, Dr. Jeffrey Smith, and Dr. Kim Kasling. Andrey also plays several other instruments professionally, including flute, violin, saxophone, piano, harpsichord, and has more than a decade of experience as an accomplished bass, baritone, and tenor choral scholar.
