Dr. Larissa Simanenkova
Dr. Larissa Simanenkova is a Piano Teacher and Piano Performer with over 41 years of Experience. Larissa is a 1st Place Winner of College Young Artist Competition of Russian Federation. She holds her BA degree with Honor in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy, Master degree with Honors in Piano Performance, Collaborative Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy, and a Doctorate in Piano Performance from a very prestigious St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music of Russia.
Larissa is a former professor of Petrozavodsk Conservatory of Russia (for 20 years), a Master Teacher of Jan Erickson Music Studios, Eden Prairie, MN ( from 1995 – 2009 ) and an independent piano teacher (from 1993 — Current). She served as a Program Director and Co- Chair of MMTA Young Artist Competition for 3 years (2006 – 2009 ). Larissa’s students have been winners of MMTA Piano State Contests, MMTA Young Artist Piano Competitions, MMTF 9th Grade Award Auditions, MMTF Senior Music Award Auditions, Piano Fun Competition and Upper Midwest Music Festivals. Larissa joined Kramer’s School of Music in February 2015.
